our story

We met on a Tuesday in late autumn, in a bookshop neither of us was supposed to be in. She was reaching for a book about cities. He was reaching for a book about the sea. Five years on, we are still — somehow — reaching towards each other, in the same room.

things you might be wondering

Are kids welcome?
+

We adore your little ones, but we have decided to keep the day adults-only — we hope this gives you a chance to enjoy the night off, too. There will be a recommended sitter list available on request.

What time should I arrive?
+

Doors open at 3:15 pm. Please aim to be seated by 3:50 — the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00.

Is there parking?
+

Yes, free on-site parking is available. We also recommend Hotel Cassia for those who would rather walk back at the end of the night.

Will it be indoor or outdoor?
+

A mix. The ceremony is outdoors (weather permitting — we have a beautiful indoor backup). Cocktails on the lawn, dinner and dancing inside.

Dietary requirements?
+

Please mention them when you RSVP. Our chef is wonderful and accommodating — vegan, gluten-free, kosher, halal, all handled with care.

Can I take photos?
+

During the ceremony — please put phones away and just be with us. After that — go wild. We have polaroid cameras dotted around for the reception.

Gifts?
+

Your presence is the gift. If you would still like to contribute, there is a small honeymoon fund linked from the RSVP page.
